Bike carrier Civi 3Axis Black – 30 kg

The stability of Civi 3Axis is based on the fixing of the front fork of the bicycle by the wheel axle pin. It can carry Mountain bikes and E-bikes that have a through axle Ø 15×110 mm or Ø 15×100 mm and weight up to a maximum of 30 kg. Please select the desired size when ordering. It is essential to use only the original axle pin supplied with the bike.

The Civi 3Axis car roof bike rack is supported by the T-track roof rack bars. The size of the track must allow the insertion of the supplied galvanized steel dowels with standard size 20×4 mm. The installation of the roof rack bars on the roof of the vehicle can have a wheelbase between 700 mm and 1200 mm. The connection joint between the bar and the fixing head allows a correct use of Civi 3Axis even in the case that the roof rack support surfaces are not perfectly coplanar, because the tolerated angle is +/- 20°.

The support is suitable for all frame sizes, from Small to Extra Large.

The rear part of the bike is placed in the support seat. This component slides longitudinally accommodating the wheel in a section that can vary from 1.8″ to 3″. The installation is completed by fastening a certified belt.

The composition of aluminium and galvanized steel with anodizing surface treatment gives Civi 3Axis a high protection against atmospheric agents and a long resistance over time.

Civi 3Axis is equipped with a mechanical safety lock system with key. This component allows the bicycle to be locked on the bike rack, avoiding unpleasant thefts and to further secure the front wheel pin when moving. Moreover, the mechanical safety lock system allows to lock Civi 3Axis on the car roof rack bars.

Civi Solution has designed this accessory with a particular profile, a very distinctive shape for the inhabitants of the province of Lecco and beyond: three rocky peaks among the most famous of the Larian Triangle, the Corni di Canzo.

For the transportation it is necessary to remove all the components that could come off the bike such as water bottles, the repair kit, the lights, etc..

The battery of the E-bikes, if correctly fixed, can be loaded with the bike, avoiding its removal.

Civi 3Axis does not obstruct in any way the opening of the tailgate of the car and does not limit the driver’s visibility. It does not generate any longitudinal or lateral projection to the vehicle. Civi 3Axis does not exclude the use of other accessories that can be installed on the roof rails, as long as the maximum permitted load capacity is respected.
